Take the lid of Consol's iconic 1-litre preservative glass jar, a solar panel, rechargeable batteries and LED lights. With a sprinkle of ingenuity the Consol Solar Jar is born... eco-friendly, portable, durable, waterproof and proudly South African.

We were pipped at the post for the MBOISA prize, but we surely won the prize for the most sought-after item at The Design indaba.  Consol sold ± 3,000 Solar Jars in 4 days.
