Young Sessa assembles a low cost SWH (Solar water heater)

Outside Powerzon's factury we had a look at a low cost solar water heater. Unlike comercial units this one does not us a insulated geyser but instead a plastic 40 Litre tank.

These units can be used by 4x4 entusiasts and communities in rural areas.

YS brought one back to the office for testing.

 

Young Sessa assembles a solar hot water panel.

On Wednsday Young Sessa and Mama Earth was invited by Theuns from

Solarzon to take part in a Solar panel assembly workshop.

Theuns and his fantastic team are engeneering and manufacturing hot water Solar panels with a difference.

They feature almost 100% local content and are available in kit form.

Young Sessa visited the Aurora school, their moto, Carpe Diem or Seize the day,

we felt very privilidged to be invited to do a Solar workshop.

Der Deutsche School Bazaar - Young SESSA was there

Young Sessa and Suntoy where at this years German school family day on Saturday the 29th of May.

There was no shortage of prospective "clients" playing with our Solar offerings.

We presented both PV and hot water solar.

Young SESSA workshops with the teachers from the Technical Assosiation:

Young Sessa conducted a practical PV solar workshop for 12 teachers from surrounding schools.

What do you want to know? (W)

and

What have you learnt? (L)

On the 22nd of April YS did a SunDay , "Have Fun with The African Sun" at Thakgalang in Soshanguwe.
